Jojo Rabbit (DVD)

Taika Waititi's brilliantly subversive satire comes home in this DVD edition. Set in Nazi Germany, it follows a lonely boy whose imaginary friend happens to be an absurdly incompetent Adolf Hitler. What could have been tasteless becomes tender, hilarious, and heartbreaking in Waititi's capable hands. Scarlett Johansson shines alongside young Roman Griffin Davis in this anti-hate fairytale that manages to find hope and humanity in the darkest of settings. Perfect for fans of sharp, intelligent comedy that doesn't shy away from big questions.
