Travelling to a drag queen beauty pageant in Hollywood, three New York 'girls' find themselves in for a shock when their car breaks down in the midwestern town of Snydesville. Just how dull can one town be? Nevermind, they decide to make the best of it and set about bringing a little glitz and glamour into the lives of the staid local citizenry. Tough guy actors Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo don wigs and shave their legs as they take the lead roles in this unconventional comedy.
